MAHALO for making our THANKSGIVING COMMUNITY MEAL a Huge Success! On Friday, November 17th Lex Brodie’s Tire along with Reel Church Ministries and Malia Puka Kalani Church were honored to sponsor a Free Thanksgiving Meal for our Hilo Community. Drivethru pick-up began at 4:00 pm in front of Saint Joseph High School located at 1000 Ululani Street.  The delicious hot meal consisted of Kalua turkey with gravy, rice, buttered corn, purple sweet potato and pumpkin pie. We were able to provide 750 nourishing meals to our community. Mahalo to the generosity of Safeway-Hilo who kindly gave us a discount on twenty-five Tom Turkeys by selling them to us at their sale price to help defray expenses. Lex Brodie's Tire has partnered with Project Hawaii Inc.; a non-profit in Keaau that helps Homeless Keiki Succeed on the Big Island. Our 5 Stores across the Island have been collection sites for gifts and supplies that get brought into Hilo via our drivers for distribution. During the Christmas Holiday, Lex Brodie's drivers transferred over 5 truck loads of gifts for the Keiki. This past Easter, Kona agencies and businesses generously donated over 2 truck loads of Easter Baskets and Gifts. It's an amazing outpouring of Love and Aloha that we are so Blessed to share in. BRODIE'S ANGELS got TWICE AS NICE! Lex Brodies Tire loves to help our Big Island families. For the past 6 years, BRODIE'S ANGELS have been blessing a Big Island family with repair and tires to keep their vehicle safely on the road.  This year, O'Reilly's Auto Parts Teamed up with US to be able to Bless Two families with much needed repairs.   Meet SAMANTHA-our Westside recipient. Her vehicle literally broke down the night before and had to be towed into our Kona shop to have her repairs done. She works in Kailua-Kona and drives home to Oceanview after 10pm so catching rides was not an option. She was stoked!! Meet KINI KAAWA-our East Hawaii recipient. It's been an exciting year for JOSH DELUZ!   Earlier this year JOSH & LEAHI got married and their two children were part of the wedding ceremony. Earlier this month, JOSH had to evacuate his family from his Waikoloa Home because of the Parker Ranch Brush fire and now….. we would like to announce that JOSH DELUZ has been promoted to the WAIMEA STORE MANAGER!!!  CONGRATULATIONS JOSH!!  Josh originally started working for us in 2014 at the Lex Brodie's Fast Lube in Kona. His work ethic, great attitude and drive helped him to land the position as the Lube Lane technician at our Waimea Lex Brodie's location. He was a natural when it came to taking care of customers, he went on to do sales which lead him to learn more about building estimates and ordering parts for his customers. It adjusts the angles of your vehicle’s wheels to original specs for best gas mileage, proper road contact, a smooth ride, and the longest tire life.
