Fast and friendly service...nice waiting room...coffee hot chocolate tea free Wi-Fi charging strip for phones and tablets. Big screen t.v. with ACCESS TO REMOTE...and nice selection of reading material!

When to Lex Brodie's in Hilo after going to Midas and told I needed an appointment to get a safety check. I called several shops and they said the same thing. Went to Lex Brodie they took me without an appointment and was fast and very friendly. They are going to be my go to shop for now on.

Looking at a place to service my car and came across these reviews. I am expecting the owner to response to the negative reviews as she did to the positive ones, at least say sorry or something. If she only cares about good reviews, certainly she will never make it up to those that have issues arising out of her shop..Gotta offer some kinda Aloha Anita.

Hello ATAK BILL, Thank you for leaving your comment. I try to respond to all of our reviews. For Those who have had a poor experience, we reach out and call them directly to resolve their issue. I will make it a practice to go back and add my comments as to what transpired so that others can see what we did and how we took care of our customers. So... I am sorry for not being better at commenting on all reviews. As for the service that we perform at our stores, we aim for 100% customer satisfaction and if for some reason a customer is not satisfied, we take extra steps to make sure they are taken care of. I went in to do a safety check inspection at the end of the month. Not a good idea. But they took me in anyway. They gave me heads up about the wait time (~45 min) due to several people before me getting the same thing done. I waited in the waiting room area. They had plenty of seats, drinks, and other refreshments you could want in a waiting area. One of the workers even brought us some pastries from Safeway while I was there. In the end, I ended waiting for 45 minutes till my car was ready. The time did fly by a lot faster than expected. This was largely due to the excellent and friendly staff and the many different commodities they offered in the waiting room to keep the customers entertained and comfortable.

Just got my car back after service and I wanted to say mahalo to Tiana and the staff there at Hilo Lex Brodies. I had dropped my Subaru off Friday to get some oil leaking taken care of; when I picked it up it was running a bit rougher than we started with and the tech said yeah it seems to be miss firing a little. So I got it back to them today Monday and they took care of it right away; so good just some wires replaced that had been affected by the oil leak. They were kind enough just to charge parts only. Good service and fair all around helps this working man keep on the road : ) No need buy a new car and go in debt if I can count on Lex Brodie to help me maintain what I got today. Good job guys I recommend to everyone.Rob out at Pahoa side
