Have been to Lex Brodies tires 5 times now for a safety inspection because every time they tell me I need something new. The first time, yes it was my mistake for not having something needed. But since then I have paid for the inspection , and keep being told to come back because of time or they have made me wait over an hour every time when the previous time they tell me tomsimpky bring the paper for a picture and I'll be done. Most of the staff seem to not care much about their customers. I'm currently waiting still, for over an hour for them to simply take a picture and give me a sticker. Hopefully this is the last experience with Lex Brodies.

I towed my van Thursday night and called Friday morning to find out when they can take a look. I was told that afternoon but no return call. I call Saturday and was told somebody will take a look that day. No call, left voice message on Sunday. Finally, someone called that it was the starter and the part was available. I approved the repair and it was ready at the end of the day. I hated that I had to get a rental for 3 days because I did not know when someone can look at the van. They're good at the repairs but horrible on follow ups.

When to Lex Brodie's in Hilo after going to Midas and told I needed an appointment to get a safety check. I called several shops and they said the same thing. Went to Lex Brodie they took me without an appointment and was fast and very friendly. They are going to be my go to shop for now on.

Looking at a place to service my car and came across these reviews. I am expecting the owner to response to the negative reviews as she did to the positive ones, at least say sorry or something. If she only cares about good reviews, certainly she will never make it up to those that have issues arising out of her shop..Gotta offer some kinda Aloha Anita.

Always my go-to place for all my vehicle needs. And now look... free use of cables and electricity to charge your device. Mahalo LB-Hilo for making me welcomed and cared for.

I went in to do a safety check inspection at the end of the month. Not a good idea. But they took me in anyway. They gave me heads up about the wait time (~45 min) due to several people before me getting the same thing done. I waited in the waiting room area. They had plenty of seats, drinks, and other refreshments you could want in a waiting area. One of the workers even brought us some pastries from Safeway while I was there. In the end, I ended waiting for 45 minutes till my car was ready. The time did fly by a lot faster than expected. This was largely due to the excellent and friendly staff and the many different commodities they offered in the waiting room to keep the customers entertained and comfortable.
