Went in for a Safety Inspection. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. When a situation arose requiring a decision, confidentiality was maintained by speaking to the client in a private setting. There was a wait time due to the number of clients being served but the staff worked as efficiently and quickly as possible.

Steven went above and beyond for us. We are truly thankful to him and happy with our experience!

I can't say enough good things about the Kona Lex Brodie's Service. I bought a used Toyota Corolla a few months ago, and I expected I had some issues needing to be fixed. I've had to go in 3-4 times over a couple months because the check engine light and other error codes kept flashing. My husband fix one issue on our own, and the guys at Lex Brodies were sensitive about testing the parts they thought might be a problem one by one to make sure they were working. Also because I had to come back, they didn't charge for a further diagnostic. I was expecting my repair would take a week or longer since parts were needing to be ordered, but somehow they managed to fix it in one day. I was very happy I got to return my rental car and get a refund. Especially as a woman who has had some bad experiences of being taken advantage of at other car repair establishments, I really appreciate how honest and hardworking the staff is. They take detailed notes in the service summary to describe what is wrong and exactly how they handled it, they don't do unnecessary work and protect the parts you may have already replaced, and they really care about the customers. John was fantastic in taking my appointment with speed and quickly took care of the car. His humor was an enjoyable change from other safety check locations. He won me as a Lex Brodie customer like no other.

Okay shoutout to this place for the work they have helped me with! David been a pleasure but I am sad that my check engine light even for all the work I have had done is still on and I wish I could from all the work I have done with Pahoa Lex Brodies that this wasn’t the case! They said the part was obsolete but after talking to couple places I heard different. I do like that they can come and drop you off pick you up at home when the vehicle ready for pickup! I am sad that the old manager did not actually submit proper documents to warranty company so make sure you always call and do your research be your own advocate but I do have a running van and I’m able to get to my appointments and babies! So I’m thankful for that! Also thankful that they have found ways to cover the diagnostic with the work I had already completed with them! I would say if your looking for something near you puna side who can help you I would give them a shot but just make sure you stay informed and stay on top as I feel like you have to protect yourself from what I went through I canceled my warranty and couldn’t get it back! I could have had almost two years of repairs covered through them if proper paperwork was completed! Crazy! But staying humble and just thankful to have a vehicle and I just look forward to the day I don’t see a check engine light on! Happy holidays ya’ll
