Overall experience was a steady Good-Great! The "Uncle" mechanic/Pop of the Shop! Had a lot of knowledge and experience.The woman in the the front Ivy I think.. was very kind and and personable. I can only speak to my experience with their customer service and oil changing skills as I haven't had any major work done. Their customer service is amazing, so incredibly nice and easy to work with. And their oil changes have been efficient and thorough, they always go over any issues they noticed during the oil change. Lex Brodie's service personnel evidently has been trained to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills not commonly found within this type of service business. Lex Brodie's Fast Lube is "the place to go" for great auto service on the Big Island. Not only are they quick, they are courteous, professional, and just good people. I took our 2012 VW in for service recently when a warning light came on. The Lex Brodie service team did a series of diagnostic tests, identified the problem, fixed it, and sent me on my way with a smile and a thank you. And, there was no charge because I had recently had the oil changed. With that great experience in mind, a few days later I took our new Toyota to Lex Brodie for service rather than return to the dealership. I figured it was better to pay Lex Brodie's reasonable rates and receive excellent service than have the car serviced by the dealer under its not so excellent warranty plan. They knocked it out of the park again with their excellent service, friendly staff, and professionalism.

Fast and Friendly Service. I had several requests and questions - Manager Daniel was great in addressing my concerns. Tires were changed and alignment done as scheduled, in fact pau ahead of time.

Staff was courteous and professional, service was prompt, and pricewas right.

We always take our truck to Lex Brodies when something we can't do ourselves and each time we drive away happy customers...The staff is always kind,knowledgable and very professional..and they are at a very convenient location for us..

Great Experience! I got all of the filters and the fluids of my car changed. I asked a ton of questions, and Lance, the manager was quick to reply to all of them. He knows his craft inside and out. Its interesting to watch the communication between the whole team of several guys working on the car all at once, telling each other what they need or what they are doing. They are an efficient, well oiled machine, not much different than watching a bunch of doctors working on a patient on an operating table. I highly recommend.

You can't go wrong at Lex Brodie's in Pahoa. In fact, they are so popular and convenient, that the company would be well-served by adding a few service bays to the five they have now. I suspect they would stay busy. Personally, I am very happy with the professional staff and quality of service, and it's so nice not having to drive to Hilo anymore. My only suggestion would be to dedicate a stall and a technician to safety checks, and include tire tread and pressure checks - as well as to offer reasonably priced headlight aiming service and new wiper blade sales and installation at the same time.
