Awesome service even one hour before closing was it because I was a new customer? Brought over a loose tire ( off car already), with a puka from a screw I removed. They used the correct way to fix a flat. Take it off the rim and put a patch plug. Watched the mechanic preform this task in less than half a hour. Was worth the 20.78. I would go again for the fast and correctly preformed service. My friend who came with me had a leaky valve stem, this job well done also in replacement. Since he had purchased tire there his cost was less than four bucks. I didn't even have time to sit for both jobs. Enjoyed watching the mechanic from a distance.

Employees & assistant manager are great, however the crusty old manager is very unfair & took complete advantage of me. I brought tires in & they mounted them. Only to find out that they rubbed on the fender. After paying $120 to get mounted & balanced. He charged another $80 to put originals back on. Unreal, very dissapointed with the higher management. Besides manager good folks...

Tiana helped me as soon as I got in to Lex Brodie's - she was efficient & friendly. I brought my son's car for an oil change & she helped me out & showed me where I could work - with free wi-fi!!! Perks!! There was also coffee, tea, TV, AC & comfortable chairs!! Each time I come here, they live the Lex Brodie ethic - so gracious & helpful!!

They did my bfs 1999 honda accord tires but wen he goes 60mph his steering wheel shacks

HELLO Kristin, Thank you for your BF business. Have him bring the vehicle back to our Kona Store and let the technicians check out his tires. One of the tires may need to be re-balanced or something else might be causing the shake. If he bought the tires from us, there is no charge for LEX to look at his tires. Mahalo again! Aloha.... I was very impressed with how Anita, the store owner, and Cliff, the store manager, handled the situation. Right after the my negative review, they both contacted me to get the details of what happened and assured me that it would never happen again. I completely understand in any business mistakes happen, but we were surprised by how the staff seemed uncaring about their mistakes. Well, the management of the store felt very different and showed it through their actions. I am considering giving this place another chance and am grateful for how Anita and Cliff heard our concerns and followed up with us. Maybe Later 1/22/2016 Previous review We made an appointment as the staff requested us to do for an oil change because they said they were We made an appointment as the staff requested us to do for an oil change because they said they were very thorough and it would take about an hour or so to go through all these points of inspection. My husband arrived there on time but had to wait an hour and half for the car to even be pulled into the shop. They rushed the job and finished in less than half an hour. My husband drove away and realized that it was a very quick service so he opened his hood and saw that they did not fill the fluids. The coolant was down to almost nothing. So he drove right back and asked them if they fill fluids, and they replied that it was part of the service. He showed them that he just left and asked to see the checkoff list of what they did. They clearly did not do their job and left out something as important as refilling the engine coolant. When he showed this to the manager, they filled the coolant. The whole time, the staff acted smug and unapologetic. There was no taking responsibility for the huge delay or the lack of an important service. I would rather drive to Hilo to get decent service. It is dangerous to take your car to them and expect them to do the job right. Read more Was this review ?

I was shopping around for a new set of wheels for my old 2003 Pontiac Montana. I dropped in to Lex Brodie in Hilo and was greeted by Tiana who assisted me with my needs and eventually landed me in a new set that looked quite awesome. It has given a new fresh look to my old montie. Thanks Tiana!

Lex Brodies Hilo operates with integrity and service. I've had numerous days that have brought me to their doors. 'Louis' is an fastidious service rep that handles all questions simply and quickly. The whole wait time is reduced by techs that know their job and either fresh front porch, or hosted coffee waiting room and T.V.

Great job, fast, efficient and friendly. The entire team is well prepared and know the job. Very pleasant experience every time. The manager noticed that my inspection sticker was about to expire and asked if I wanted it taken care of. It saved me a lot of time to be able to do everything at the same time and place.
