Thank you for the best customer service. I arrived without appointment for a Safety inspection recently. Ryan had me in the shop in two minutes. I left with the Safety sticker, a needed tire rotation and my broken tire pressure warning system repaired. Very quick and inexpensive, as always. The crew at Lex Brodie, Hilo treat their customers with courtesy and respect and they have earned my complete trust. This is why I keep coming back to them whenever I need service on my vehicles. They go the extra mile!

Probably the most honest mechanics you will find in Hilo, hands down. They are expensive, but what auto repair place isn't?Haven't been let down yet.

Timely and professional. More importantly, your staff set me up with a tire package that I could afford. I am a broke school teacher, and they understood - and did not pressure me toward an expensive set.

I am a field technician by day and an awesome Dad by night... My work vehicle is my life and I drive all over the Big Island so I am very dependent on this vehicle. Mahalo to Lex Brodies for helping me to keep it running fine. I believe any work they suggest is needed and they respect and understand the need to keep a vehicle running while not breaking your wallet. I appreciate that they look at the brakes while it is on the lift for routine service and they will advise you if work is needed. The brake pads were nearing the end of life and catching this when we did potentially saved hundreds of dollars since the rotors were still in good shape. I know there are some who believe the brake checking is just a scam for more business but, after 3 years of bringing the vehicle here, that is not the case with Lex Brodies.I came to Lex Brodies after another repair shop tried to sell me an alignment that was not needed. 50000 miles and 3 years later, I have never been approached for alignment and the tires wear normally. I am confident my car will go when it needs to go and stop when it needs to stop...

This place is what service is about. They charge a reasonable fee for their work, much less than most places on the island, and they back it up. I was just given a dealer estimate of many thousands of dollars to do some "routine" maintenance on my car. I asked Lex Brodie to review the multiple page document and let me know how much work was really needed. They spent a day with the car, explained each item to me, confirmed the one thing that did need to be done -- and they charged me nothing for this diagnostic service. Let's see, will I take it to the dealer??? or to Lex Brodie??? You guys have my business for life.

John the auto inspector at Lex Brodies in Waimea told me to not come back to his store because I brought my service animal with me and he refused to help me since I refused to leave my Service Animal Dog outside. I did have my Service Animal Registration with me and I did show the Registration and he told me if I came back he would see to it that I have to wait hours to be helped because I brought my dog inside the shop.
