My Lexus IS350's interior melted. So I pulled the plates and garaged it. Lexus called me late Tuesday to say they could replace the interior Thursday. To get the plates, I needed a safety check. Complicating the matter, the year-old battery would not hold a charge. I was able to transport the car to Lex Brodie, run across the street from the Kamuela DMV. I was picked up a replacement battery from Costco while doing business in Kona on Wednesday.
