NOT a company that values customer service. I have used Lex Brodie's in Hilo with great results and service. This one however isn't deserving of the business. Showed up at 5:30 pm with a tire rapidly loosing air. Online it says they're open till 6. On the door it said open till 6. But the door was locked. There were about 7-10 employees hanging out in the showroom and most of them looked at me like I was insane for trying to open the door during business hours. They told me they were closed...I pleaded for them to open the door because my tire was going flat as I was standing there. Then someone, who Im going to assume was a manager because he was dressed nicer than everyone else, came to the door and told me they were having a meeting and were closed. I told him my situation and he told me sorry I can't help you. I've already turned the compressors off. We're closed for a meeting. It takes 5 mins to fill up a compressor...they're the only ones open in kona town after 5 and here's a paying customer wanting to give them money and they turned me away. I'm sorry but there isn't any information they could be covering in a meeting at a tire shop that would be so crucial they couldn't pull one person to do a patch. So now I'll be giving my business to firestone from this point on for anything on big island. Shame on you lex Brodie's for forgetting aloha.
Aloha Joe.... I hear your disappointment about our Kona Store. Unfortunately the Kona Store had closed early to hold their company meeting. I apologize for not being able to asssit you with your flat tire. We have meetings to go over safety procedures, store policies and proper protocols so that our employees and customers are not at risk.
