I know they responded to this however I went to this location to give them a 2nd chance . I went to go get new tires and my car sat there for an hr while people who came after me got their cars in . So I went to the kona location and they took my car right away and had better service then in waimea. I wont be coming back to the waimea location
Second reply: Jason, We apologize for your long wait at our Kamuela location. Due to the layout of that facility, we have limited bays to handle repairs, alignment, tires and oil changes. We only have one bay dedicated to Tires and the Kamuela Team tries their Best to get the vehicles done as quickly as possible. The Kona location is a much larger facility and has 4 bays to work on tires -which is why you were able to get in and out -Which is AWESOME!! Thank you for doing business with our Kona Location and for using LEX BRODIE'S TIRE despite your past experience at our Kamuela Store. We appreciate you!! Aloha.... Anita =) Hello Jason.... Thank you for your feedback! Several things to cover with you. 1. When a customer comes in for a safety inspection, we have strict guidelines put forth by the State of Hawaii that we must follow. One of them is that the license plate needs to be attached to the front of the vehicle. In order for us to pass your Safety Inspection, a photo needs to be taken showing the plate on front. As a temporary fix, We do this by attaching your plates with zipties, take the photo and cut them off. SIMPLE. Now, only the dealer sells license plate holders that are specific to your vehicles front bumper. Not all Frames are the same due to contour of the bumpers. 2. As for your alignment.... I'm sure your tires are showing irregular wear and that is why the clerk recommended an alignment because it's out. Anyones vehicle can easily have it get kicked out of spec by hitting a curb or a pothole and adjustments are out. Best to get it checked before it ruins your tires any further. 3. If we did work on your vehicle in February 2018, please call us and see if it's still under warranty. Let them know that you are STILL hearing the sound you were concerned about to begin with. Be Safe! Aloha.... Anita and your Kamuela Lex Brodie's Car Care Team =)
