When to Lex Brodie's in Hilo after going to Midas and told I needed an appointment to get a safety check. I called several shops and they said the same thing. Went to Lex Brodie they took me without an appointment and was fast and very friendly. They are going to be my go to shop for now on.

Looking at a place to service my car and came across these reviews. I am expecting the owner to response to the negative reviews as she did to the positive ones, at least say sorry or something. If she only cares about good reviews, certainly she will never make it up to those that have issues arising out of her shop..Gotta offer some kinda Aloha Anita.

I went in to do a safety check inspection at the end of the month. Not a good idea. But they took me in anyway. They gave me heads up about the wait time (~45 min) due to several people before me getting the same thing done. I waited in the waiting room area. They had plenty of seats, drinks, and other refreshments you could want in a waiting area. One of the workers even brought us some pastries from Safeway while I was there. In the end, I ended waiting for 45 minutes till my car was ready. The time did fly by a lot faster than expected. This was largely due to the excellent and friendly staff and the many different commodities they offered in the waiting room to keep the customers entertained and comfortable.

Waiting here with 3 kids was easy A/C Cable tv; Kids Playroom; Clean Place too .Currently watching the Inauguration & One of the Employees Hooked up my kids with Pez Toys

Just got my car back after service and I wanted to say mahalo to Tiana and the staff there at Hilo Lex Brodies. I had dropped my Subaru off Friday to get some oil leaking taken care of; when I picked it up it was running a bit rougher than we started with and the tech said yeah it seems to be miss firing a little. So I got it back to them today Monday and they took care of it right away; so good just some wires replaced that had been affected by the oil leak. They were kind enough just to charge parts only. Good service and fair all around helps this working man keep on the road : ) No need buy a new car and go in debt if I can count on Lex Brodie to help me maintain what I got today. Lex Brodies is my choice for car needs. They are friendly, professional, and detailed. They are just very busy and service can take awhile.

Went for my oil change; quick and easy. Better than 4 other places I've been to in Hilo. Won't go anywhere else.

Amazing customer service exists at Lex Brodie for this damsel in distress. I pulled into Island Naturals shopping center and I accidently drove over a curb and punctured my tire. I did it good too with a huge gaping hole. Fix a flat was not an option here. I had no spare tire. I called Lex Brodies at 5:15 (they close at 6:00) I told them of my tire emergency. They immediately sent 2 guys to my car, jacked it up, took away flat tire while I waited at parking lot. A few minut...es later the manager calls to give price options. I select and purchase tire over phone. A few minutes after that the same 2 men return to lot, pop on new tire, grab their tools and leave. This whole process took less than 35 minutes. I was back on the road at 5:50. I felt like I had my own personal NASCAR pit crew. Lol Here's the kicker: they did not charge me extra for service call. Only the price of the tire! I am a forever customer from now on. Truly amazing. The 2 guys (Daniel and Jr.) Gave me a hug and a happy holidays on their way out.
