**Update** I'm updating and revising my review. Nice to see that Josh and crew read their reviews, accept criticism, and work at improving their product/service. After posting my original review, Josh had Clint call me to make sure that I had a follow up appointment. Dropped off the car this morning and they took care of everything and were even done before lunch. Treated me very well, too. I mean, they are always friendly, that's never changed. Josh also acknowledged the issue and more than fairly compensated me for my time and inconvenience without me even asking for anything. Everyone makes mistakes. When someone is willing to admit their errors, apologizes sincerely and makes amends, well that's the kind of people and type of company I want to work with and promote. Thanks Lex Brodie, Waimea. I'm sure your namesake would be proud. *Original review* I want to support local business, but local businesses need to step up and do proper work. A few months ago, took my truck in for them to check out an oil leak, tire rotation and wheel alignment. First of all, they were not able to locate the oil leak. I wonder if they even tried? Another mechanic immediately identified the problem as the valve cover gasket and fixed it. Secondly, after the alignment, the truck now pulls to the right. Wasn't doing that before, so not sure what's up with that. Today, I dropped off my car for a safety inspection (made the appointment at the beginning of the month, made a morning appointment because I finish work early), oil change, some other work. Car was there at 5:00am. Josh called at 8, confirming some of the work and told me it would be done around 11, noon at the latest. I show up shortly after noon and they haven't even started. So great, now I have to either stay late or make ANOTHER appointment? I've been using them for a long time and don't usually complain about the minor issues I've had, but the last few times, it's been frustrating to work with them.
